Sri Chinmoy visited Oslo, Norway six times. His first trip was in March 1988 and his last in May 2007. Sri Chinmoy held concerts in Konserthuset, Gamle Logen two times, Oslo Spektrum and The Nobel Peace Center. Sri Chinmoy was an official guest to the city of Oslo in 2001. When visiting Oslo in 2001 Sri Chinmoy gave The Eternal Peace Flame as a gift to the city. The Eternal Peace Flame is located at the end of Aker Brygge Port in Oslo. This is a highly populated spot for the people of Oslo.
