June 13th 2010 we visited Vaasa for the inauguration of Sri Chinmoy´s Statue. What a warm, cosy, beautiful, heartfelt and unique city Vaasa is. We stayed at an old military complex in which was turned into a hostel. Niharika Nuuja was the host and the one that made the initiative for the Sri Chinmoy´s Statue in Vassa. This is the 6th full-size Statue of Sri Chinmoy in the world.
